Two and a Half Minutes of Screaming

I wanted to post THIS VIDEO of Desmond. Its essentially two and a half minutes of him screaming. The locale is our old house in Lincoln, before we moved. It doesn't really have anything to do with anything current, news-wise, but its a video I've been meaning to post 'cause I thought it was funny. Desmond loved looking (and screaming) out of the porch windows of the old house. We all miss the house on LaSalle, but the new house has some endearing qualities.

The new one is a couple blocks from a park and an elementary school where we can take the boys (Desmond and Kevin) for an occasional evening romp. The floors are carpeted in the new house, so Desmond can run around full speed while the risk of an injury is less. Kevin's new backyard is smaller, but he has several neighboring dogs to "run the fence" with. One neighbor has three big dogs that get pretty rowdy, and the other neighbor has a small obnoxious dog that Kevin seems to like barking at. The neighborhood is quite a bit like the one we left in Lincoln. Its comprised mostly of small-to-medium sized brick houses, the trees are all big, and most of the neighbors are middle aged or older (for the most part).

Yeah, so we like it here so far.

Cessna is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year. This weekend there is a huge open house for all the employees and their families. There's supposed to be music, food, hot-air balloon rides, airplane rides, prizes and tours (both of Mid Continent and Pawnee facilities). We plan to go and hopefully we can get some good photos to post here...I say hopefully because Cessna is pretty touchy about cameras on the facility.
