More news includes the family reunion that we had here in Wichita. We rented a couple cabins at El Dorado Lake and had a sort of destination reunion. Folks came from Nebraska, Illinios, and Grandma French Fries came from Washington. The weather was cool and cloudy, so the afternoon activities at the lake were skipped. But we just bought some more firewood, started the fire a little earlier and hung out. A lot of food, visiting and a little bit of football. Desmond's uncle from Nebraska brought a portable television and managed to pull the NU - USC broadcast. The next morning was sunny and warmer, and Desmond's Grandma from Nebraska filled everyone's belly with waffles. Things were looking up and everyone got to go for walks and whatnot, but the afternoon checkout time came too soon. Everyone made the long drive home but Grandma French Fries and the Illinois contingent stuck around.
There was a possibility that the union workers at Cessna would strike on Monday, so I couldn't take time off. And Jennifer had to work too, so Desmond and the remaining relatives went to the zoo. Sounds like they had fun. Tuesday was rainy and D got to spend a lazy day with his grandma at the house. By Wednesday everyone was gone and D was thoroughly exhausted as well as completely off his routine. It only took a couple days to recover though.
Thanks for coming everyone! We hope you all had fun, and that the reunion was worth the traveling everyone did. I know we had a good time, but we didn't take any photos. If anyone (everyone) who took some pictures could send us their best few, via e-mail, I would be very grateful. Maybe I'll make a contest of it and include the best reunion photo in the next post...a very prestigious honor. Good Luck!

We were never informed you were expecting another baby! Congrats! When is this little one set to arrive? Matt I am really disappointed you are leaving us out of the loop! I will have to rely more on J-Loyce for my McDonald updates! Congrats again!
Yeah, I kinda slipped that one in there. I suspect that there are quite a few people out there that we haven't told yet. I'm not the best at making the rounds with new info. Jen's due sometime in March. I imagine Aimee is starting to get pretty big herself.
If you haven't seen them already you guys should check out the photos of the ramp in Lincoln for the USC game. I think Hoop has them on his site...your bro sent them to me. It must have been miserable. I'm glad I wasn't there, but I guess Rob wasn't there either...with the party and all. Anyway, thanks for comment.
Matt I'm still not convinced that it's a good idea that you are breeding. Jennifer yea, but not you. Maybe she could go to one of those "sperm banks" in the future. They screen their donors so they are... you know... smart, tall, good looking, nice head of hair... I'm just sayin.
If the donor screening process is as you say Steve!, you could easily qualify (with the possible exception of the "good-looking" characteristic). But I think everyone that knows Steve! will agree that there is definitely something wrong with him. Which makes the donor screening sorely deficient...maybe dangerous. I mean, who would would want to raise a "spawn of Steve!." It's frightening, and a little cruel considering the mothers would have no idea of the horror that grows in their womb.
Maybe that's how Jennifer feels...anyhow, this little one will be the final addition to the McDonald clan. You're welcome Steve!
Well Rob did end up having to work thanks to the big bad Timanator! He was pretty pissy about the whole thing but I'm pretty sure by the end of the night he had drowned his sorrows with some booze! My belly is starting to pop a little so that has been crazy! I'm serious on getting together...we get so bored on the weekends it would be fun to check out your digs or vice versa. Let us know when your free. Email me (aimee.hansen@yahoo.com) and we can exchange digits. Tell Jenn Congrats on the baby! I feel like I haven't talked to her in ages!
Congrats on the new baby on the way. It's good to know that D will have a new little brother or sister as an apprentice so they too can help with the revolution movement. Not that D needs any help, but everyone needs a sidekick.
I was never suggesting that I would be a good donor. Clearly I would be quickly screened out because of my many mental illnesses, strange fetishes, panty sniffing convictions, and inability to get an erection without the sound of Phil Collins (post Genesis) playing in the background. It's probably best that there are no "spawn of Steve!" out there.
Let's see some video of McDonald jumping the bike off a ramp made by propping a chunk of plywood on a couple tractor tires.
Alright,
Grady.
I've had my fill of redneck ramps. If I remember right the last time we tried that was with my 3-wheeler, at Groaner's shop...I flipped over backwards because I underestimated the rebound of the tractor tires. Right? Who's idea was that anyway? Probably Groaner's because he knew that I wouldn't be able to resist trying it, and would inevitably wreck.
