Mmmmm, Sweets

Who doesn't love sweets? Desmond likes to eat cake and cookies. It makes him happy, so we let him eat some once and a while. I don't feel too bad about this lenient sweets policy because he generally eats pretty well. I had some funny photos of D thoroughly enjoying some cake for desert at a restaurant and then a few of him eating a cookie at home.

Anyway, I thought the pics were kinda funny and knew that some of you would enjoy seeing the boy being goofy. You can also see him wearing his favorite hat in the last three photos. The hat was one of mine that when he saw me wear, he decided that he had to have it.

There's really no other news from us in Wichita. We took D to the library for the first time, and he was pretty impressed. Typically we read two or three books every night, and the ones we own were getting pretty stale. So we decided to get some from the library.
