Still Here

So we're still here...just pretty busy lately. We closed on the house on Jan 16, and have spent almost every spare moment here working, cleaning or moving. There was two layers of wallpaper throughout, and we had to remove it all before we could paint. We tore out the old disgusting carpet and had some put in to replace it. Then there was the painting. The pace of the work has slowed but there is still plenty to do. And to make it even more difficult to get online to post on the blog, our computer was down. To keep D occupied while we worked in the new house we let him watch DVD's on the laptop. Of course, the inevitable happened...he spilled a juice box on the keyboard/mouse, and the mouse stopped working. It wasn't until yesterday that we got a new mouse that we could get back online with any real capacity to surf.

Anyway, just wanted to leave a quick post to let everyone know that the blog has not been abandoned. And there should be some photos of the new place posted here in the days to come.
