Every Revolution Needs an Airforce

Pretty scary image, huh? D greased the landing, though, which is pretty impressive since he had to fly by instruments all the way to the runway. One day he'll be able to see over the instrument panel and flying will be so much easier. Of course, he also will realize that the airplane is a static display and that it never leaves the ground. One would think that having to make the engine sounds himself would have provided the first clue that the flight was only imaginary.

Hardy har har, you say...Well at least E thinks I'm funny.

In other news...the family room is finished being remodeled. Now Kevin can lounge in the sun in surroundings a little more dignified. The room looks better, and is very comfortable. D and I often sit in there and listen to a jazz program that comes on public radio every night. He didn't like the "Daddy's music" at first, but he tolerates it if only because I read books to him as well. E offers no opinion.

Thanks for the comment J-Loyce. And D likes his shirt. He especially likes another one of the shirts that you gave him...unfortunately he has outgrown his Bob Marley shirt. Maybe we'll cut the sleeves off and he could wear it as a muscle shirt for the summer...I predict flexing. Or maybe we'll just save it for E.
