Long Weekend

Over this past Memorial Day weekend we didn't venture far. We were at home except for a few trips to the store. On one trip we got a swimming pool for D to play in. Also, we were expecting guests on Monday and thought a little pool would be a good distraction for the youths. We also went to the hardware store for curtain rods and a ceiling fan. The curtain rods were for the upstairs living room (now complete), and the fan was for D's room (now cooler). Pops got a lot of work done in the yard...that is, at least, as much as he could between thunderstorms. There have been pretty bad storms down here for the last three nights as well as this afternoon. 'Tis the season I guess.

Spring shearing came a little late this year. D finally got a buzz cut. He has the tendency to get pretty overheated, and the weather here has been warmer. Thus, a clean-shaven bean and short pants are ushered in as the norm.

The following post includes a video of E bouncing in her airplane. It was taken on the first day that we started putting her into it, so mainly she just looks around and tries to keep her head up. She seems to like it.

Readers who have no real interest in babies and the everyday things that they do will likely have no real interest in the video, but it should give everyone else a chance to see Lady E. Enjoy.

And I did not choose the image from the video that shows before you press play...I don't know how to change it. Not E's best angle. Also, the noise in the background is the attic fan running.

Oops. I read these new posts in order, hence my ignorance about the attic fan. That's what I get for being so quick to sarcasm, I guess.
Alright,
Grady.
