This weekend we went swimming at the Cessna pool for fun. I think D had fun, but he didn't do much swimming. There was a lot of sitting on the edge and kicking his feet.
He's not too big on swimming right now. E couldn't try swimming because she has a cold. She got to watch though.Pops got quite a bit of yard work done. Those of you who have seen it before may not recognize our pond...
I've seen a crane visiting our backyard a couple of times. Probably eying the koi. I don't have a count, so I can't say if any of the fish are missing, but I suspect that ours are too big for the crane to jam down it's gullet.

Yeah the yard looks better. Last night someone came to pick up all the river rock that I had moved. I sold it on craigslist.com and am very happy to have it gone.
It sounds like a visit your way is confirmed. We'll be out there a few days at least...long enough that I expect D to be jumping the ponies before we leave. Think you can get a hold of some of those riding pants that stick out at the thighs...like Patton wore. That seems like a good look for D.
Somebody actually came to pick up your rock?? That is incredible. You are so funny Matt....they don't wear those pants anymore and D would not look good in them!
